Floreffe Brune is a Belgian strong ale from Brasserie Lefebvre in northern
Wallonia, Belgium. The most traditional of Brasserie Lefebvre’s range of
Belgian abbey-style ales, Floreffe Brune is an aged brown ale, undergoing
secondary fermentation in the bottle to add depth and complexity to the
beer. Popping the flip-top lid on this attractively packaged bottle,
Floreffe Brune pours a deep brown, almost black colour. Aromas of
liquorice, roasted malts and grape rise from the beer. The first sip
reveals roasted coffee, warming alcoholic mouthfeel and a slightly tangy
