Welcome to The Blackfriars Tavern in Great Yarmouth. We are listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2024, and is the 2024 East Anglia CAMRA Pub Of The Year as well as the 2024 Norfolk CAMRA Cider Pub Of The Year.
The Blackfriars Tavern underwent an extensive refurbishment inside and out in 2020 after being purchased.
In previous years, it has been named the CAMRA Pub of the Year Runner-up for 2023 and 2022. In addition, it has been recognized as the CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year Runner-up for 2023. The Good Pub Guide Website also recommends it as the only pub in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone, with a warm welcome and friendly service, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular looking for a new local spot.
Currently, we’re serving an ever-changing selection of award-winning real ales and real ciders. We also offer a normal selection of draught lagers, wines, and spirits, as you would expect from any traditional pub.
We also have a food service that varies depending on the day of the week.
