Returning again this month on Friday January 10th for an afternoon of relaxed music & light-hearted banter, we have local performers “Liquorice”. Blackfriars Tavern is thrilled to unveil its very own Nitro Stout, a bold and velvety creation crafted right here on the premises, debuting today, Christmas Day 2024. This indulgent stout offers a luxuriously smooth pour with a rich, creamy head, delivering notes of subtle roasted coffee, and dark chocolate.
We celebrated its release with one of our regulars, Paul, who had the honour of being the second customer to savour this new addition to our lineup. (The first had it all gone before we could take a picture!).
The Scholar’s Stout (Nitro Edition), a live, unfiltered and unfined stout when kegged, is the latest innovation from Blackfriars Tavern Brewery, continuing our tradition of creating unique and high-quality ales. Its nitro-infused pour guarantees a stunning cascade effect, making it as visually captivating as it is delicious.
Come and try our Nitro Stout for yourself at Blackfriars Tavern, the East Anglia CAMRA Pub of the Year and Norfolk CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year. Weโre raising the bar for local brews, one pint at a time!
