Romany Rose Cider

Available on draught and also to take away in bottles (subject to availability).

6.9%, Medium Dry: The Romany Rose cider is a medium dry Norfolk Cider. Made using a blend of Norfolk heritage and west country cider apples. Pressed, fermented and matured in Norfolk.

The Romany Rose was a steam drifter (YH163) which was winner of the Prunier Trophy 1946 for the most herring caught in a season – biggest catch of the year. The skipper was Walter Rudd, who was great, great uncle of the cider maker.

5.5%, Medium Sweet: Haymaker is a premium traditional cider. It is a well balanced medium sweet cider with a slight citrus after flavour. Makde from apples grown in Norfolk & Suffolk.

Radient Rose Cider

4.8%, Sweet: A traditional Norfolk sweet cider, brewed in Norfolk and respectfully dedicated to the skipper (the maker’s great grandfather) Robert John “Dunky” Rudd (1880-1937) and his crew on the Herring Drifter Radient Rose YH11. Sailing from Great Yarmouth to catch the “Silver Darlins”.

Hi Everyone, a reminder that our monthly quiz is a week today on Tuesday 26th March! We were well supported last month, and the participants were rewarded with an enjoyable and unique quiz experience (but don’t worry, the Quiz Meister has promised that we will finish on time, this time.) It will be great to see those who came last time, as well as some new faces.

Last Tuesday of Mar (26th) & Apr (30th) 8pm – 10pm. Cash Prize, Free Snack, Friendly Atmosphere.

Featuring Local Beers and Local Cheeses in the company of Cheryl Cade who is a qualified Beer Sommelier with the Academy of Beer & Cider, Cicerone Certified Beer Server, a CAMRA trainer & a Member of the Academy of Cheese (level 2).
