The Chimay Blue Cap, “baptised’ “Grande Reserve” in 750 ml bottles is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavour of which improves across the years. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer, explaining the presence of a “vintage”.

This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odour, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelised note.

It is served ideally at cellar temperature (10 to 12°C).

Chimay Triple, with its typical golden colour, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterised by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer’s flavour, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.

A chestnut brown colour beer with a light brown head.Aroma has hints of vanilla and of course chocolate. On the palate, the predominant taste is chocolate and vanilla, the fondant taste especially is very present on the palate. In the aftertaste, the chocolate makes place for coriander and the curacao that was used in the wheat beer.

A slightly golden colour beer, with an extraordinary white head.You may detect the soury smell of the Maracuja (passion fruit). Thanks to the sourness of the Maracuja, this beer is an excellent thirst-quencher during summer. And because of the freshness, this low-alcohol beer can also be served as an aperitif.

A yellow golden and cloudy beer, with a firm and lacing cream-colour foam head. Aromas of mango, papaya, pepper and a subtle note of citrus. An excellent mouth feel because of the use of 100% fresh mango juice. The aftertaste is sweet and fruity.

Gouyasse was the first beer brewed from the Brasserie des Geants (August 2000) and it took several months to develop.

The wish of Master Brewer Pierre Delcoigne was to produce a beer rich in flavours but fairly light in alcohol, working only with the four raw materials (malt, hops, water and yeast), without adding any additives.

Pouring the first three quarters of the bottle the beer is a beautiful light yellow. When the final quarter is poured it becomes cloudy from the sediment.A perfect balance of a dry beer but not overpowering bitterness and a maltiness which softens the hoppiness.

Gentse Tripel is a honey blond, high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Gentse Tripel is hoppy and bitter and a fruity aroma. Although it has a complex composition it is an easy to drink beer. The label shows the three World famous towers of Gent (Sint-Niklaas church, the Belfry and St. Bavo’s Cathedral.

Gulden Draak Imperial Stout is an imperial stout from Belgian brewer, Brouwerij Van Steenberge. As the rather imposing bottle suggests, this is a seriously strong, flavourful beer. The name ‘Imperial Stout’ comes from a particularly strong stout that was produced in England and shipped to the Imperial court of Russia back in the 1800s. This regal beer is brewed with double, or even triple, the malts and hops, to produce a rich, complex flavour and strong alcohol content – generally around 10-12% ABV.

Gulden Draak Imperial Stout pours a deep black colour, offering up aromas of cherries, dried fruit and chocolate. The flavour is rich and fruity, with chocolate, roasted malt and brown sugar, alongside a hint of clove spice.
