Origin: Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of the gamma Carolus-beers. Name: “Hopsinjoor” is a wordplay to for one thing the several hops which were used, and on the other hand the typical character of Mechelen of Gouden Carolus: the figure “opsinjoor” is intertwined with the history of Mechelen (see:
www.opsinjoorke.be/Opsinjoorke/opsinjoor.htm). Kind of hops: 4 types of hops are used: Golding, Spalt, Hallertau and Saaz. These hops were fractioned at several times in the cooking process in order to keep a maximum of aroma. Regarding to taste we can say that the beer has a gentle, but nevertheless bitter aftertaste. Gold-yellow colour. Hoppy aroma.

Westmalle Dubbel beer is a dark reddish brown, the nachgart in the bottle. The cream-colored foam collar smells of special malt and leaves a nice pattern in the glass. The flavor is rich and complex, spicy and fruity with a bitter-fresh finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft mouth feel and a long, dry finish. impulse and the result is Belgium’s first Belgian Style IPA, Urthel Hop-It
of 9.5% ABV.With the creation of Urthel Hop-It, Hildegard started a new trend in the
Belgian Art of Brewing which inspired her colleagues in the following years.Urthel Hop-It is brewed with only malt (pils) and three European Nobel
